Pre-race routine:

Got up did alittle stretching had a peanut butter sandwich and sipped on some heed and off to the race.
Event warmup:

Took the bike for a quick ride and did a litle run as well. Stretched and then off to the beach to wait for my wave.

Comments:

Start was good found clear water right away. I found my self swimming too far from the buoy's all the way around. I think this may have added a little time to the swim. Overall my pace I think was good and kept up the pace but may have added alittle distance due to bad sighting.
What would you do differently?:

I need to kep closer to the buoy's to keep the swim as short as possible.

Good transition overall but I took me some time to put the socks on. I just need to work faster.

Move quicker. It was a big tranistion area to run out so time may just be because of size.

Bike was overall good. The wind was tough on the way out of town untill I turned on route 2 and I hit it hard on the way back. I did set a PR for the 40K bike by over 2:30. So overall happy but the hamsting was a problem on the way out but felt better on the way back in.
What would you do differently?:

Not much I was happy with my time.

The run was ok. It was hot so the times were slower. I felt good at start but the heat hit me about halfway so had to slow down a bit. For the weather it was a good run.
What would you do differently?:

Not sure what I need to do to get faster but I will keep working on it.

Warm down:

Walked around and stayed in the shade to cool down.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Heat. It was hot today just not ready for the heat. I has been a cool summer
