Only two of us in our lane so we split the lane. I was overly ambitious with my ranked time, was about 40 sec slower than what I wanted.
What would you do differently?:

I have nowhere to swim right now, I will be starting to swim again once the summer comes and I move back home. I really need improvement in this area.

Post race
Warm down:

Ate an orange and a few celery sticks with peanut butter. Walked around, put some dry clothes on and went inside for the awards. Watched the Bulls win on the T.V. :)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I hate to say the weather but it did hinder a little on the bike for me with turning and such. The running course was very slippery which slowed me down a touch. Otherwise I did fine for the first race of the year and I am very excited for the rest of the season!

Event comments:

Great race, I love doing this one to start the year off. It is a challenging course and I enjoy it very much. The volunteers are always friendly and organized, they do a great job.
