Comments: I started off slowly and gradually increased my pace throughout the race. Actually I started too slowly and kind of got stuck in my comfort zone. I started to push harder at the half way point and finished strong which is always a nice feeling. I was a little disappointed to miss the 40 minute mark but the main is that I completed the race injury free and things are looking good for Ironman France. What would you do differently?: Go faster from the start. Post race
Warm down: Ate a banana. What limited your ability to perform faster: Ill during the week, racing yesterday and lack of experiance. Event comments: Well organised, timing chips, lots of marshals and a good crowd. Last updated: 2009-03-04 12:00 AM
