Swim
Comments: I am glad I did the group start. I didn't get hit or kicked, not once, maybe it was because I stayed so far back. There is one advantage to being a very slow swimmer. What would you do differently?: Warm up a bit. Not stress out so much about the swim. Transition 1
Comments: I felt that I was organized in the way I had set up. I was just moving a little slow. I am always dizzy when I first get out of the water. I think I was just trying not to fall over, plus I was so amazed that I had made it through the swim that I was just happy to be in my little transition area:) Then my husbands voice brought me back to reality when I heard him say"You don't have to tidy up, just get going" I laugh every time I think about that! What would you do differently?: Move faster and be messy. Bike
Comments: I liked the bike coarse. I think I held back too much in order to have something left in my legs for the run. What would you do differently?: I should have pushed it more. I would have increased my pace and I still would have done ok on the run. Transition 2
Comments: Much better than T1. What would you do differently?: Leave the shoes in the clips and run in my socks. Run
Comments: My feet were numb for about 2/3 of the run. Once I could feel them again I started to move a bit faster. What would you do differently?: Nothing, I had a good run. Post race
Warm down: Walked around and drank some water. Socialized with the BT friends. Watched all the fast people get there awards, HEY Trish, Brickey and Michelle. What limited your ability to perform faster: I had been sick for about 3 weeks prior to the race with a respiratory thing, between that and not being prepared for the swim like I should have, I think I could have done better. Event comments: My first triathlon, what a day. I loved this race for what it gave me. I am so proud of what I did. I will never forget this day. I had my husband/best friend and my baby girl with me cheering me on, not to mention all the friends from BT that were there giving support to one another. I guess I am hooked. I am already starting to think about my next race. Steve, I would have never done this without you. You are my hero. I love you Last updated: 2009-03-05 12:00 AM

This was my first tri so I didn't have a routine. I picked up my packet and I got body marked which was very cool, I was the one with numbers on my body, not Steve;) Set up my transition area with the help from my guardian angle.
Walked around with Steve and Lili(I was so happy she wanted to be with me on this day). Lots of socializing.
