Swim
Comments: I was most nervous about this section and felt great during the swim. I passed a decent amount of swimmers from the first wave. What would you do differently?: At the end of the race I changed to bilateral breathing in an attempt to go faster. This put me out of breath more for the transition than I would've liked. Would bring a container of baby powder vs trying to just spray it on Transition 1
Comments: my water bottle fell out and then I dropped my glove which made the transition slower than I would have liked. Had to run 150yds from the swim to the transition area What would you do differently?: not used a water bottle that didnt fit Bike
What would you do differently?: I would train more hills and ride the course beforehand Transition 2
Comments: Took a few extra seconds on this transition to get my legs back in working order What would you do differently?: had a sip of water during the transition vs on the run Run
Comments: Felt like I went to slow in the beginning. What would you do differently?: Not drank water on the course, got cramps Post race
Warm down: umm, warm down? Yeah, stretched about 2 minutes What limited your ability to perform faster: Not knowing/understanding the course. started off with a cliff bar about 30 mins before race and set everything up
jogged for about 5 mins and then stretched.
