Swim
Comments: I was smart and got a good warmup and sprint started to the get in front of the pack. Swimming is my only good leg, and I needed to not be caught in the melee. Transition 1
Comments: ???? I did not get an overall time or split. Bike
What would you do differently?: I suck at bike. I just got the cadence sensor and I am working on my cycling at the proper cadence. Transition 2
Comments: ? Run
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: I kept my volume of training ok, but I did not lose any more weight. I need a better base and to lose more weight. Event comments: I like the course, and I like the convenience. It is also an inexpensive race. They keep it cheap by not using timing chips, but the timing and results were a nightmare. I got my swim split by a guy yelling out splits. My bike and run split are from my 305 - which I obviously did not have for swim. I eyeballed my overall time at the finish. I was mismarked in the WRONG age groups, and I race as a Clyde. I saw several other clydes that were mismarked that did not have time to correct. However, I know a guy that won his AG, but they had him not finishing until he inquired. They have no-time for me, but I finished and they took my tag to write my time one. Given that I only know 7 people who raced, they screwed up 2 of our results. They also tried to announce the best overall woman for the TWO races to someone that did not race that day. I seriously question the validity of the final results based on these facts. If they don't get more organized, I would only recommend this race as a training race. Last updated: 2009-03-11 12:00 AM

Got there early without the family so I could focus on doing more than just finish.
ran a half mile... realized that I was marked for wrong category, ran another couple hundred yards each way to get re-marked.
