![]() Swim
Comments: In 2008 my swim time was 15:43. I showed some improvement but my swim still needs to get faster if I am going to consistently get on the podium. What would you do differently?: Train harder and get faster. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: In 2008 my T1 time was 1:49 but I still need to get this under 1:00. ![]() Bike
Comments: In 2008 my bike time was 39:39. I am pissed that my bike split was slower. I am not sure if I am still fatigued from IMKY or from the TT on Thursday night but I know I can go faster on this course. I need to attack the hills (see elevation picture) on the first half and then cruise in to T2. I am ashamed that my 2009 time was slower than my 2008 time on the bikeā¦this is inexcusable! 15:43Elevation pic. Goal for Bike was 35:27 (22MPH) 2008 (21.4MPH) ![]() Transition 2
Comments: Too long! ![]() Run
Comments: In 2008 my run time was 25:18 (8:10/m). I showed some improvement but I need to keep getting faster if I want to stay competitive. ![]() Post race
Event comments: This was not an "A" race for me (more like a "C"). However, I am not happy with my overall performance. I need to do some hard work this winter if I want to continue to call myself a triathlete. Last updated: 2009-03-12 12:00 AM

Woke up at 2AM and ate my typical breakfast. The car was packed the night before so I just put the bike on the rack and I was on the road at 3AM (about 15 min. too early).
I was one of the first in transition and got set-up and ready to go. I had a PowerBar around 6AM to keep from getting too hungry.
Because my wave went so late I decided not to get in the water and warm up.
