had on gloves for run. took off for ride and counldn't feel fingers to attach helmet. lost major minutes here...legs were numb to change shoes.

it just didn't get much better with the wind. seriously, i prayed the majority of the time that i would not fall off. good news---wore both clips with NO problems. legs were tired first two miles but then felt good. i just wish i could have gone faster and did something.

Course: thought i was going to fall off the bike a few times from wind. i even crossed into the other lane due to wind. it was horrible!!!!! did pass a few people in the worst part of wind---one plus.

run to finish...i was so disgusted with myself, i just wracked bike and ran to finish line with helmet and clip-ins on. i did take helmet off as i was about to cross finish line.
