Too hot and hilly. Crossed 13.1 in 2:20 (right on goal) but felt like crap. By mile 16, my right calf started to cramp and I resorted to running / walking. as the race went on, I walked longer and longer and ran shorter and shorter. Walked entire last 10k.
What would you do differently?:
Train more, take salt better
The heat was the worst factor, and it is really otu of the RD's control.
