Swim
Comments: I went out kind of hard at first but then settled into a nice rhythm. This definately a "first" race for a lot of people. I passed a bunch of people from the waves that started ahead of me. What would you do differently?: Just work on my speed. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Drafting was actually legal in this race so a had a bunch of people drafting off me but the thing that made me feel good was that I left a lot of em in the dust. I felt pretty strong on the bike and hopefully will continue getting stronger. I did miss the last turn to get back into the park where transition was. The volunteer didn't tell me where to go so I just kept going straight to which I hear "you missed the turn" Ok then..... Transition 2
Run
Comments: No hills so that was great. I thought I did better than this but I'm thinking they added in my transition time to the run since they didn't list any transition times seperately. Post race
Warm down: Had a banana, some water and some Gatorade. Event comments: Great little race. And Soooooo convenient. The race started at 6:30 so we were done and on our way home by 9 with the rest of the day ahead of us. Volunteers were great. Last updated: 2009-03-17 12:00 AM

The bike ride down was a good warm up and then some stretching
