Warm down: dropping dead. Ugh! That was tough. What limited your ability to perform faster: realizing that I was going to be doing an oly and been more prepared for it. I have been getting over pneumonia and had just resumed light training the week or so before. I thought that I could struggle through a sprint, so having to tough out an olympic was really hard. I was impressed with myself that I could do it. It says to me that I don't push myself hard enough during training. I bet that I am capable of way more than what I have been doing. It will be fun to see if I can pull it out of myself. Event comments: TriUtah always does a great job. I would have liked to see packet pick up a little more organized though. The designation for the lines were on the boxes on the table rather than on the tents above where people could see them. Last updated: 2009-03-20 12:00 AM

Yikes! I thought that I was racing the Sprint until I picked up my chip and found out that I was registered for the Olympic which started in 15 minutes. All normal pre-race stuff was thrown to the wind in an effort to get things set up and into my wetsuit before the gun went off.
