Swim
Comments: I was able to swim most of even (even though people were walking right beside me). Transition 1
Comments: It seems to take forever for the suit to some off. There was a VERY long run from the water to tansition, so I was really winded. What would you do differently?: Pick a course with a better swim. Do a better job at putting on my bike shoes. Bike
Comments: There was some confussion coming back in and people getting onto the course in additon to cars. The OPP did not do a very good job at directing traffic at that corner. What would you do differently?: I was 5 min slower this year on this course. I felt a little tired at the end and was not able to get caught up to anybody. Transition 2
Comments: My legs were SOOO tired. I also did not rack my bike very well. Sorry Jeff if I took up more space! What would you do differently?: Practice running after a long bike ride, with bike shoes. Run
Comments: I was able to take off 2 min from my run last year. I am happy about that. What would you do differently?: Run faster!!!! Post race
Warm down: I just walked around. I felt very strong after the race. My knees felt GREAT!!!!! I would have liked to have had a better time. I won't be doing another try-a-tri, I think that the pace is just too face and you don't really get to enjoy the race. Really glad to have my friend Jenna with me today at the race! What limited your ability to perform faster: I just don't know how to push myself. Event comments: It did not make sence to have registration at the pavillion and body painting in transition. I almost forgot! They changed the swim course but stil posted that origional one. It would have been helpful is someone just marked it up to show the change! It took a very long time for race results to be posted. There was to time display. Last updated: 2009-03-22 12:00 AM
