Pre-race routine:

Cold and windy. Put on bunch of clothes. Made the decision with Monica to go to race.
Event warmup:

Very little warmup due to cold and wind. The plan was to run with Monica for her first 5k, so deciding on how many layers to put on was difficult.

Comments:

Had a blast running with Monica and keeping her "encouraged." Running against the wind the first half was brutal and I felt for her, but she soldiered on. I am soooo Proud for her.
What would you do differently?:

Warm it up about 20 degrees and take the wind away. Warm up and stretch.

Warm down:

Went inside and warmed up and ate some food.
