What would you do differently?: Map out a plan on finding transition spot in large area. Went down two rows before finding my spot. Bike
What would you do differently?: Practice hill climbing and rider with a higher cadence. Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Map out plan on finding transition spot. Again, went down wrong row and had to back track. Run
What would you do differently?: Would bring along a gel pack for the end of the run. Really fatigued at 9K mark and felt light-headed at the point. Needed sugar at that point. Need to train more on running and hills. Post race
Warm down: Walking, lots of fluids, and ate in recovery area. What limited your ability to perform faster: The RUN! Definitely my worse part. Event comments: An absolutely incredible experience that I will never forget. I look forward to doing this event again next year! Carb loaded during the week of taper (plain bagels, pastas, Got up 3 hours prior to race. Ate a plain bagel with natural pb, cup of coffee, water, and vitamins. Ate a banana at the course (about an hour before start). At a gel pack 15 minutes before start.
A lot of stretching and mental preparation.
