Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 5:37 hrs.

Ate: whole wheat bagel with peanut butter and a banana; made a cup of coffee with Starbuck's Via--wondered if this was a good idea since I had never tried Via before. Did it anyway and hoped my stomach would be ok with it. (It was)
Event warmup:

Walked about 4-6 blocks from the parking garage to the race start.

Ran 9 minutes/walked 1.
Drank water at each station.
Had one CliffShot before race, oone PowerGel at 4.5, and a vanilla GU at mile 9.
Post race
Warm down:

Grabbed a water, banana, and orange, then stretched. Joined coach Cheryl and cheered friends as they came into the finishers chutes.

Beautiful course, nice sunshine!

It was great to cheer for friends, especially Lisa (doing part 1 of her Maniac challenge) and Tory (a totally certified (certifiable?) Maniac.
