  • Comments: Great race. Well supported. People cheering you on the ENTIRE course. The community really comes out and supports this race. The four of us who did this race all agreed we would gladly come back and do this race again.

  • Comments: Afterwards we went down Normal Blvd to cheer on the full marathon runners. They looked miserable but we had fun screaming out the windows. My knees hurt a LOT within a couple hours, still hurt the next day. Mid-back is sore next day. Got a 90-minute massage with Becky. Always take the next day off work! :) Run was super fun staying with Dan & MacKenzie the whole way. We did awesome and didn't train near as much as we thought we should. I guess we are all in great shape from all the cross training we do. I've been doing jump rope & stairs 30 mins every week, teaching Turbo Kick regularly and 2 cycling classes a week. All that paid off in the end!
