Comments: Going into the race I was giving myself 3 options on how to run the race.
1. To go out easy and keep it that way as just a fun run. (I'm not very good at that if there isn't a bigger purpose for it).
2. Go out with the goal of breaking 2 hrs. which I thought would be fairly easy for me.
3. Go out as hard as I could and if I blow up during the race at least I would know my abilities/limitations.
I was going to start out like I normally would and decide how to proceed somewhere around mile 3.
I don't think I ever made a conscious decision on how to run the race but I went out steady and ran a pretty good race all the way up to the turn. I did just a bit of walking about 4 times between mile 5 and 6. I think where I blew it was coming out too hard after the turn, I had forgot how easy it is to blow up going downhill. I blew by a bunch of folks after the turn and saw most of them blow by me around mile 10 to 12. My calves were sore yesterday and still very tender today. My legs
