  • Comments: better organisation at the swim start would have been good. Many people missed getting to the start line on time. I just made it, by about a second. Found a position near the start, looked up to see the first buoy and the horn went off.

  • Comments: Had the best support ever with Cris she was always there and very positive, poor thing in the sun all dayAll stations were well stocked for all athletes and I was towards the back of the field. Staff/vollies were great! for my first time it was awesome! really enjoyed it. Great experience for first HIM. Would rest the day before to give the legs a bit more for the ride and run. Would probably not do Canberra again as it was my first time, everything went better than expected and I had a great experience and would not want to go back and compare with the same event on another occasion
