• Comments: On a 26 mile course I would like to see at least one water station on the bike portion. I had a good time, caught up with some friends we haven't seen in a while, and our new friends,the gentleman is racing Louisville with me and his wife is just a jewel. It was FUN!!!! And that's the whole point of our crazy love of triathlon, right??

• Comments: My biggest complaint is that the Sprint race goes off before the Olympic. This doesn't make sense to me. Team Magic does a great job. This race is more expensive than most, but it's so nice to ride on closed roads and the run through downtown Nashville was great.

• Comments: Came in 5th in my group, but 10 minutes slower than 4th, so not sure where I will find THAT much speed. The top guys are still way faster than me in the swim and run. Really loved this race though. It's normally sooooo HOT during this race, but today was just right. I was pumped when I was done and full of energy, so this tells me my Ironman training is going well at this time.

• Comments: Fantastic race. I still don't understnad why the sprint distance started before the Olympic distance. Luckily, the weather was great, so it wasn't too hot, like it has been in yrs past. The river current wasn't bad, and the cool weather meant wetsuits were legal. The bike was a bit windy, but not too bad. I enjoyed the run thru downtown, too, even with all of the hills. Lots of volunteers. I'll do this one again.
