Comments: First, I was disappointed that they didn't have enough Race Belts at packet pickup the day before. Fortunately they had restocked for race day, so I was able to use the race belt that I'd purchased. The distances felt right and I thought it was a great course for a beginner that wants to try out this sport and see what it's like. I have mixed emotions. I beat my goal of an hour and fifteen minutes (although I think I was secretly shooting for and hour and ten minutes). But I felt like I could have prepped better for the swim so that I wouldn't be so gassed (either train in a wetsuit or not wear it) which affected the next several minutes of the race. Overall it was a great first experience.

Comments: Excellent race set-up for a first time experience. I would like to do it again next year as a benchmark for improvement!
