  • Organised?Yes
  • Events on time?No

  • Lots of volunteers to help?No
  • Plenty of drink stations?Yes

  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: The race started late without any announcements regarding the delay. One water station at mile 2. But food selection at the end was maybe the best I have ever seen for a 5k. There were bananas, bagels, pretzels, water, juice boxes, McDonald's apple dippers w/caramel, granola bars, protein drinks, etc.

  • Comments: I enjoyed this race a lot even though it was quite a hike. I would consider doing another race at this venue, but probably only once a year.

  • Comments: This race was for brain tumor survivors and the families who have lost loved ones to brain tumors. It was unusual in that there were far fewer runners than walkers and while it was not a sad atmosphere, I felt very mindful of the pain and loss my fellow participants had suffered. I was thrilled to perform my personal best, but I was also thankful for the simpler joy of being alive today.
