Comments: Hey- this was just a casual club tri. But, given that it was a paltry $5 to enter, Mark and Bob did a nice job having everything organized. It was BYOB on the drinks, but since the run came back to the transition area after 1 mile, you could grab a drink. There was no road marking or police escort through intersections, but the rural roads weren't very crowded and all was fine. They did organize some volunteers to write down times and a kayak spotter for the swim. The environment and scenery couldn't be beat. Transition and BBQ was in a nice shady grassy area right by Stockbridge Bowl (a lake). Weather, temperature, water temp- all worked out great.
As a practice event- couldn't have been better!
