  • Comments: This is a riot of a race. I loved the reverse-order triathlon for a change. It was so nice to think all I had was a short swim after the bike was over :) And it was a great way to end the race season just in time for the winter months.

  • Comments: I think I could have done well or placed if they had a Clydesdale division. Not that that would have changed my overall time or anything. I feel pretty good about this race overall. I beat my goal time by over 3 minutes and I had a PR on the run portion. I scored right in the middle overall. If I can get swimming down to a reasonable performance I think I could be consistently in the top 1/3. Next year I think I will be doing a lot better at these races.

  • Comments: I really enjoy this little race! It's pretty well organized, and is a fun course. What I'm most excited about though is that my goal was to beat last years time by TEN minutes. And I missed that by only 2 seconds! Last year was 1:19:27, this year 1:09:29! I am REALLY pleased with that. This race today was intended to be my "barometer" on my progress and improvement in my training over the last year. This race last year was my first ever; today, 1 year later I've improved enough that I was able shave 10 whole minutes off my time from last year! That's a MAJOR accomplishment, and VERY exciting for me. I'll do this race again, without question. Great way to end the season!

  • Comments: The race was well organized last year. This year, they added chip timing, which was the only complaint I had. This is a fun end of season event.
