• Comments: This was my first time doing a race in Columbus. The scene was great and the race was well put on. I would reccommend anyone doing this race to bring their roadie instead of their tri bike because it was really hard to get aero in the second half of the ride since the riverwalk is small, has numerous curves, and has non-race traffic on it. I was glad to have the extra manuverability. Other than that, I thought it was a great race. The swim was even more fun than expected due to the current and the run was good. I do wish the organizers would put some mile markers out on the run and bike so you had a better idea of how much of each leg you had left. I am grateful to be able to have finished the race instead of DNF due to my flat.
