  • Comments: Another fine event by Georgia Multisports. I totally enjoy their races. Also would like to thank Tricomet for cheering us on and taking pics. She did a great job. Well, she got a lot of guys I don't know, but that was good.. for her.. and steamy.

  • Comments: Volunteers out on course were great. Not withstanding the swim distance being a little long, I think that gamultisports puts on great events. Took home an age group win which is really exciting - especially since this is just my 3rd tri of the season (and only 4th ever). My body was more sore after Saturday than it has ever been before - felt like I had just run a marathon. I had a great time on Saturday though. It's always fun to do these with friends

  • Comments: I thought it was well organized. A very tough course but I felt well prepared at least for the run and the bike. I would do it again. I enjoyed the challenge!

  • Comments: This was a great race. I LOVE this distance. Hopefully I will be able to race an oly again someday. Unfortunately this is probably my last oly for several years, unless I do one early in the season next year. I have my IM in June and July 1 I start back to work and will have little/no time to train/race. Its been a great season and I look forward to my HIM in october.

  • Comments: I learned some things and had some funny observations as a spectator. The only thing I felt was a little wierd when Steamy and Ron went to set up their transitions. Can't really describe it, but I just didnt know what to do with myself. Maybe like empty nest syndrome? I probably looked like a lost puppy or something. So, I just did what I was supposed to do: take pictures. Felt instantly better and important. Humorous highlights of the race: 1. Swim exit: people looked bad! I never really feel bad or too tired after the swim, some people looked like they were ready to die. Maybe they should practice, who knows. Rather funny to hear people yell at their SO's or families--"that sucked" or "shut up-leave me alone" 2. Steamy coming in on the bike, starting the run. Haley yells "YAYY Steamy, you're in a place position. You looke GREAT!! JUST KEEP IT UP and you'll place. You look GREAT! HOW DO YOU FEEL?" Steamy (says nothing, looks away) the look on her face "shut up, leave me alone."
