Comments: We got to the race just a bit after 5AM. Racked our bikes and then I went back to the car to snooze a bit. At 6:45 I'm standing in line in the bath-house and I hear "# 642, your bike is on the wrong rack. You have about 2 minutes to move it and then you won't be able to find it." CRAP! So I run out and sure as shit, it's on the wrong rack. WTF? I'm the first one there and can't even find the right rack?? So I move my shit, and now I'm squeezed onto an already full rack. The guys there were pretty cool about it tho, they made room and only teased me a little bit. Now the announcer was a different story. Seeing how we go back to about 1988 (co-workers at the PO) he took every chance he had (both before and after the race) to announce my name and # as the one who didn't know where to rack her bike! It was pretty funny actually.
It was a good race and the weather held out. It never did rain even tho the forecast called for thundershowers.
