  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: This race is in my hometown at a place I used to hang out as a kid, so it's close to my heart. I really enjoyed the distances as a first triathlon, and everyone helping out was helpful. The swim start was a bit confusing, because the guys I stood in line next to had listed swim times several minutes slower than me, so I wondered how I was put near the back. Overall everything ran smoothly and I was happy to have been there.
