  • Comments: This was my first successful 5k OWS. The fundraising aspect was great, and personally rewarding. I was top fundraiser, and my name was drawn for an iPad. I also get to have dinner with world-class distance swimmer Darren Miller in the near future. There was plenty of on course safety support. I recommend this as a great swim for anyone wanting to bump up to a 5k open water. I have a full race report at http://wp.me/p1jSDD-dI
