  • Comments: There were a lot of more hard-core athletes, but there were plenty of newbies like me. The course was decent and it was a great day for a race, but there were a couple issues with directions. There were other races going on that day whose courses intersected this one, and a few people got mis-directed by volunteers. At one intersection the cop directing traffic was obviously frustrated with the steady stream of bikes and opened the floodgates right as I was approaching the intersection. No harm done, but I got to verify my brakes! Overall, it was a great second race for me.
