• Comments: First year and this race was just awesome!!!! I would recommend it to anyone - it was relaxed friendly and fun and delivered a full distance event on my doorstep for a fraction of the cost of 'other events' (yeah - keep my $700 from the IM I couldn't attend, you won't get any more from me). Keuka lake and Penn Yan is just stunning. Two niggles - a few people had trouble with the lanes coming back in from the bike course and not enough volunteers left in the evening when the few full distance guys were still going. This race will be HUGE next year.

• Comments: This was the first year and it was GREAT! You tell the race director is a 20x ironman and he had everything that was needed. Well thought out and Score-this was great as usually. Y is volunteering next year so I guess I need revenge.

• Comments: This was a first year race put on by racers trying to keep the cost of long course affordable. Subsequently there were few frills but I think the success in keeping the costs in line. Hopefully next year the participation grows. Not sure I would do the full again, but I would certainly consider the half.
