  • Comments: Being my first tri, I don't have another race to compare it to. That said, I would be surprised to find out that this one isn't one of the best run events in the area. All of the volunteers were most helpful, and there were plenty of public safety personnel on hand just in case. The courses were pretty easy for a beginner with a few harder spots to challenge the more elite. There was plenty of food and drink at the post race celebration, and everyone from the volunteers to the athletes to the EMS, cops, and lifeguards were as friendly as could be.
