Comments: Overall, this was a good race. Good venue. Great roads for cycling. Only mar was the event didn't start on time. There was some concern whether or not the swim would be a wave start vs Time trial. The wave occurred, and I feel it was the best choice considering the physical location of start area. This was a race that I really needed after my Lake Murray event. My confidence during the swim meant EVERYTHING to me. I could actually relax during the other portions because I survived the swim and didn't freak out. I was still at the very back of the pack, but I knew I had the strength and confidence to finish strong!
