  Join Joan Embery and be among the more than 3,500 participants of all ages and backgrounds expected to attend this exciting event! Take advantage of this unique opportunity to stroll through the world-renowned San Diego Zoo before it opens to the public. As walkers enter the Zoo’s main gate and pass by the animal exhibits, they will be greeted by park inhabitants such as the flamingos, rhinos, gorillas, and of course, the world famous celebrity pandas! All registered walkers will be given event t-shirts and goodie bags and FREE admission to the Zoo valid for either the day of the event – Saturday, November 18 – or the following day, Sunday, November 19. All event participants will be treated to healthy refreshments, live entertainment and an expo after the walk
