• Description: The 2008 Alpharetta Marathon & Half Marathon will start on Academy Street in downtown Alpharetta in front of City Hall. The course will take competitors through the some of the finest scenery in all of North Fulton County, with great on site support through every mile of both the Half Marathon and the Full Marathon. Competitors will be entertained by musical bands every three miles and community groups cheering them along the course as they head to the finish line.
