• Description: On April 19, 2014 at 8:00 a.m., runners will fill the lakefront of Chicago for the FirstMerit Bank Lakefront 10 Miler. To keep runners honest with their spring preparation, this year’s course features a few hills to make things a bit more challenging but rewarding in the end. The start and finish line is located at the corner of Montrose Avenue and Simonds Drive. The first 2,500 registrants will receive a one-of-a-kind Greenlayer Quarter-Zip. Push yourself as much as you can during the race, so the street fest style post-race party, which will include vendors, live music, food, free beer and more, will be more enjoyable as you celebrate your accomplishments.
