• Description: Only full Iron distance triathlon with the swim in the ocean (Flensburger Förde) in Germany at the border to Denmark. Gaining popularity fast, in its 11th year it is still a small triathlon with roughly 800 starters (including relay teams) and a nice local cozy athmosphere, yet it is still conducted very professionally and also attracts Pro triathletes.
  
  The swim is on a two loop course with run into the water from the beach. The 6 loop bike course is fast and a little bit hilly with total elevations being around 320m. The run course is flat and the 5 loops lead one along the waterfront.
