The Howard County Police Foundation is a collaboration that links the strengths of private business and the needs of the police department. Founded in 1994 as a business sponsored, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and police service in Howard County and strengthening the relationship between the police and the community, the Foundation works with the Police Department and the community to develop innovative programs, publicize services, and fund projects not otherwise possible under the County budget.
