• Description: Newton Trail Triathlon is a short course triathlon held around Boulder Reservoir on the picturesque front range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The race starts with an open water swim, followed by an undulating run on sand, grass and gravel trails. The bike is mostly on dirt roads and non-technical trails, suiting mountain, cross, or road bikes with large diameter, aggressive tread tires.
