• Description: In conjunction with Rochester WinterFest X, the annual “Lace up Against Breast Cancer” run and walk will be held at Mayo High School. All funds raised at this event will be donated to Mayo Clinic, Rochester, for breast cancer research. Funds raised by Lace Up Against Breast Cancer are currently being used to support research studying the effects of yoga intervention on stress and quality of life in newly-diagnosed breast cancer patients. The event will include a certified half marathon, plus a 5K run, and 2 mile walk. Refreshments will be provided following the running and walking events, and great door prizes will be given out.
