• Description: On April 25, 2007, David C. Brinkerhoff, New York State Trooper shield 4531, was killed in the line of duty. On April 25, 2009, exactly two years to the very day he made the ultimate sacrifice, Dave's family, friends, classmates and colleagues will again honor a remarkable person and a true hero with the running of the Second Annual Brink 5K. Our run/walk will retrace a route that Dave mastered during his years first as an undergrad and later, as a trooper: the University at Albany loop.
