  Now in its 27th year, this unique event is believed to be the only 5k/10k race in the nation that is totally underground, a distinction made possible by the continued generosity of Hunt Midwest Enterprises. With a consistent temperature of 65 to 68 degrees year-round, the Hunt Midwest SubTropolis is the ideal venue for the more than 3,200 runners who participate in this annual event.
