The Amica Iron Horse Half is a scenic two-loop course which begins and ends on Iron Horse Boulevard in the charming town of Simsbury, loaded with quaint shops and restaurants. This race has been one of “Bart’s Favorite Picks” in Runner’s World. Enjoy our world famous grilled cheese sandwiches, awards and a fun run for kids. The 10K and 5K run simultaneously with the half marathon. Same finish line and same great post-race party. Benefits the Simsbury Boy Scouts. Please bring nonperishable food items to benefit the Gifts of Love in Avon.
