• Description: Runners and walkers get ready for the Children’s Memorial Hospital Race for the Kids 5k Run/Walk (Formerly “Loop the Loop for Kids”) to be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 8 a.m. The CARA Certified 5k Run/Walk will now start and end at Soldier Field and it will take participants along Chicago's famous lakefront path.

  Rain or shine, the event starts at 8 a.m. Participants in the 5k Run will be timed, with prizes awarded to the top three male and female winners. All participants will receive an exclusive Children’s Memorial Hospital Race for the Kids 5k Run/Walk cotton t-shirt, enjoy complimentary food and beverages, live music and entertainment for the whole family, including fun activities at our Kids Corner!
