• Description: Distances are 400m swim, 13 mile bike, and 2 mile run through the beautiful swamp around Morgan City. Limited to 150 participants with awards going to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall male and female, and 1st place in age groups 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. Lake End Park has beautiful cypress trees, a clean beach, and a lot of snakes. Proceeds benefit St. Mary Outreach (a local relief agency) and Kiwanis. After the race, it's party time - lots of great food, cold beverages, and music. Check with the Morgan City Holiday Inn for the Snake Bite Tri rate (69.99/night).
