• Description: 5 stage triathlon to be held August 23rd at Battenfied's christmas tree farm, in Milan, NY. The farm is located on Route 199, just east of the village of Red Hook and just west of the Taconic Parkway.
  
  Stage 1 - a hilly 1.2 mile trail run
  Stage 2 - a hilly 6.2 mile road bike
  Stage 3 - a hilly 2.0 mile trail run with 3 short pond swims (100, 150 and 50 meters), done in the style of S.O.S. (i.e. swim with your shoes)
  Stage 4 - a hilly 2.0 mile Mt. Bike with a stream crossing
  Stage 5 - repeat stage 3
  
  The Battle is presented by B.A.D. Brewing, the official home brewers of Catskill Mountain Multisport, so plan on enjoying some unique and fresh beer once you've finished.
  
  It's recommended that you race with 2 bicycles, your tri bike and a Mt. bike.
