• Description: CM2 Promotions, Inc., the folks who bring you the American Zofingen ultra distance duathlon, are pleased to announce the inaugural Devil’s Kitchen Olympic Distance triathlon to be staged Saturday, August 29, 2009.
  
  The 1500 meter swim will take place in the beautiful North Lake, Haines Falls, NY, in the Catskill Forest Preserve at 2200 feet above sea level.
  
  The 26 mile bike leg descends to the valley below and returns by climbing the legendary Devil’s Kitchen ascent which gains 1000 feet in 2 miles and was the showcase challenge back in the days of the Tour De Trump.
  
  The closing 10K run will be mostly paved and not nearly as hilly as the bike ride; we may be cruel and you may be masochists, but we also want you to have fun.
