• Description: Register now for Community Health Resources, annual 5K Frostbite Run and Walk scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2009 in Enfield, CT. Proceeds will benefit CHR’s Safe Home of Enfield, a safe haven for children removed from their homes due to abuse and/or neglect. Participants will enjoy the fresh autumn air and exercise along a beautiful scenic course, all while helping a very worthy cause. Music, refreshments, and door prizes will add to the festivities. Prizes will be awarded to male and female runners with the best times in multiple age groups. The entry fee for the Frostbite Run and Walk is $15 for preregistered walkers and runners, and $20 for those who register on the morning of the event. Free event t-shirts (long sleeve this year!) will be available for the first 400 participants to register. We encourage you to register early to ensure you receive a t-shirt and to assist us with our planning for this event. Please be sure to indicate your preferred size on the registration form and mail it in with your payment early, so that we can estimate the size needs in advance of our deadline for ordering our event t-shirts. Pre-Registering for the run by October 14, would be extremely helpful.
