• Description: Join us on October 6, 2013 for the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital RBC Race for the Kids. This USATF (IL-10117-JW) and CARA-certified, chip-timed 5K race begins on the University of Chicago Quad and is an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Hyde Park neighborhood.
  
  After the 5K, join us for the Kids’ Dash, a sprint-style fun-run on the Quad open to children ages six and younger. New to the event this year is the Kids’ Mile, a one-mile chip-timed race suggested for youth in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
  
  Proceeds from this event fund the groundbreaking scientific and clinical research taking place at Comer Children's Hospital.
  
  Participants receive a race t-shirt and access to all of the race day festivities. The first 1,500 registrants receive a race bag courtesy of our sponsors.
