  This is a sprint distance triathlon in a beautiful, waterfront setting on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay in downtown Havre de Grace. The triathlon is a non-profit event with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum and the Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation Oncology Services/Support Program which offers many services and exercise support programs for free to all of its oncology patients.
  
  The triathlon is dedicated to the memory of Brenda D. Guldenzopf, Havre de Grace Councilwoman, who was the pivital momentum in bringing triathlon to Havre de Grace, Maryland. Brenda succumbed to cancer two and one-half months after last year's triathlon and we are committed to continuing the race in honor of her legacy.
