• Description: The Ottawa Fall Colours Marathon and Ottawa Fall Colours Half Marathon have received official certification by Athletics Canada and Run Canada and are considered official distance events. The course was measured and certified by Bernie Conway, National Course Certifier, IAAF Grade A Measurer, and USATF/RRTC Final Signatory.
  
  This certification along with ChampionChip Timing means that the Ottawa Fall Colours Marathon may be used as a "Qualifier for the Boston Marathon". Qualification is automatic if the Boston Qualifying standard is met during this race.
